About Bob Eckles:

Dr Eckles was Associate Dean and the Director of the 3-year post-graduate Foot and Ankle Surgery Residency Program at the New York College of Podiatric Medicine. He joined the faculty in 2003 and was there until 2021 – afterwhich he and his wife moved back to New Zealand. 

Dr. Eckles first trained as a Podiatrist at the California College of Podiatric Medicine in 1983, having already completed a BA and a Masters in Public Health. He was a board member of the American Board of Podiatric Medicine, and a Certified Wound Care Specialist (CWS) for the American Academy of Wound Management. He was also chair of the Podiatrists board for the New York State Department of Education from 2013-2019. He is currently an Adjunct Professor in the Department of Orthopedic Sciences at New York College of Podiatric Medicine and the Medical Director at Foot Science International.
